HIGH EFFICIENCY WATER-IN-OIL EMULSION FUEL
WITHOUT CHEMICAL ADDITIVES
COTEFCO is an acronym for Combustion Technology Efficiency Collaborative. COTEFCO offers its Emulsion to Combustion (E2C-unit)™ products and services for a wide variety of emissions reduction and fuel savings applications. It is now accepted that combustion of emulsion fuel when prepared properly will drastically reduce emissions of harmful gasses and particulate matter. The E2C System can also reduce oil consumption on most installations.
Although our motive is environmental, and our emissions reduction capability is significant, it is the potential fuel or cost savings that sell our systems. Once again, fuel prices are rising and are not likely to fall due to the rapidly increasing demand for energy worldwide.
The COTEFCO PROCESS reduces emissions and may deliver significant fuel savings to institutions, factories, and almost any facility where heat plays a major part in the conversion of raw materials into steam, heat, hot water or useable products.
The COTEFCO Process
The COTEFCO Emulsion-to-combustion (E2C) Unit is a mechanical device that is installed near the boiler's point of combustion. Both fuel and water flow separately into the E2C unit in predetermined ratios. The unit's reactor chamber emulsifies the two liquids (without chemical additives), which are then delivered to the boiler for efficient and low-emissions combustion.
COTEFCO equipment is available for a wide range of fuel oil consumption installations from 50 to 400 gallons per hour and up. Among benefits to be gained from the COTEFCO PROCESS (when compared to fuel oil alone or emulsion created with chemical additives) are: improved performance, reduced emissions (NOx, CO2, SOx), internally cleaner engine or boiler, lower exhaust gas temperature, lower internal temperatures, reduced maintenance, increased boiler or engine life, reduced soot, fuel savings( in many cases), which can cover the cost of the equipment in 2-5 years.
